The first time Cabseco saw the piece of raw driftwood, sullen and bloated in spots, it looked like something that should just be discarded. To them, however, the wood showed potential, an incomplete image that just needed filling in. “It looks like a tree trunk,” they said, very similar to an earlier collaboration piece titled Willow. Recognizing something in it akin one of their former designs, the artists saw this as an opportunity to reinterpret the life of a weeping willow.
 
Under the sun, the 77 brass branches glimmer gently, a symbol of the wandering wisdom and spirituality that comes with growth. At night, the double-ended light source, a first in the collection, gives off this brilliant and enveloping glow, and shares this sense of hope and safety, like the tree it is inspired by.
